On a hot August day in New York City, Sarah and Kathrin stood in the lush outdoors of Central Park surrounded by strangers as they said “I do.” Living up to the phrase, the city of dreams, the two traveled from their home in Germany to have their dream wedding in the Big Apple after Sarah proposed in Times Square a year earlier.
Setting up a carnival-themed celebration in their own backyard, guests enjoyed popcorn, lemonade and candy stands that were homemade by the brides and Jennifer's dad. The talented soonlyweds also DIYed their own backyard Scrabble, checker boards, cornhole, Chinese lanterns, ring toss and more -- there was certainly no shortage of entertainment. "We are a very playful couple so we wanted a relaxed environment for our guests," says Amanda.
It was important for Serena and Melissa to celebrate their beloved city, infusing their day with subway-inspired elements and taking photos at the foot of the iconic bridges, captured by Calvina Photography. The result was a love letter to New York and to each other.
Laura Benanti, who is most notable for her roles on the hit TV shows Supergirl and Nashville, was married in a private ceremony at Riverside Church in New York City this past Sunday, November 15th. Some wedding photos, you just look at and think "Damn, that looks like it was a fun party." Such is the case with Gina and Ben's destination wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico at the breathtaking Sandos Caracol Eco Resort. From a mariachi band, sombreros and a piñata (whose decapitated head made it onto the dance floor!), this celebration was one for the books.
A house filled with laughter, good food and great friends in beautiful Big Sur, Calif., set the scene for Ryen and Nate's elopement.
The urban vibe in Sarah and Stephanie's wedding at Kentucky's New Riff distillery feels positively fresh against the old bourbon-making tradition.
Sarah and Josh's handcrafted wedding was the perfect combination of charming DIY elements and elegant vintage details, and the whole family worked together to make it a celebration to remember. Lucky for us, we get to relish in the inspiration-filled photography this Monday morning thanks to the gorgeous documentation of Jono & Laynie Co.
This handsome pair flew all the way from the UK to tie the knot in New York City's Central Park. Le Image, Inc. shot their love in such a beautiful way it could practically be its own fashion spread, from getting ready at Park Central Hotel to the ceremony, followed by Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO to capture their newlywed glow.
With a purple-and-gold color palette inspired by the college team that brought them together driving the simple yet elegant design, Ken and Steve hosted an intimate gathering to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family at Hotel 1000 in Seattle
With a picturesque lighthouse to complete the scene, Newport, R.I., provided this playful, beaming couple with the perfect beach atmosphere and gorgeous wedding photos.

Everything about Heather and Brian's special day exudes an "effortless cool" in the best way possible. Their stunning wedding photos, taken by the talented Zorz Studios, dramatically and artistically depict every memorable facet of their celebration, from the vintage, speakeasy-inspired decor of Brooklyn's Green Building, to passionate tears flowing during the ceremony to friends and loved ones tearing it up on the dance floor.
Anna and Elise's Brooklyn wedding was brought to life with a few of our favorites (Tinsel & Twine! The Wythe Hotel! Heather Phelps-Lipton Photography!) and their love is made up of elements -- respect, trust, compatibility -- that is the perfect formula for happily ever after.
