After receiving Amanda and Jennifer’s playful picnic engagement shoot from Six Hearts Photography, we knew their wedding would be bursting with personality. Setting up a carnival-themed celebration in their own backyard, guests enjoyed popcorn, lemonade and candy stands that were homemade by the brides and Jennifer’s dad. The talented soonlyweds also DIYed their own backyard Scrabble, checker boards, cornhole, Chinese lanterns, ring toss and more — there was certainly no shortage of entertainment. “We are a very playful couple so we wanted a relaxed environment for our guests,” says Amanda.
“To see it all come out the way we planned was awesome to see,” exclaims Jennifer. “We had planned for exactly a year and a day and even though it was a lot of work and planning, it was ours and it involved our closest friends and family.”
