A Las Vegas Proposal That Hits the Jackpot

Galina was in Vegas for work, which just happened to fall on Valentine's Day, so Mark traveled with her from their home in New York City. “I was in town for a work conference so was just expecting to work all day and explore with him at night,” says Galina, all the while, Mark was plotting his proposal to the love of his life.

With plans to “go out to a nice dinner,” the lovebirds were walking through The Wynn which was decorated for Chinese New Year. Mark nonchalantly asked a stranger, who was actually part of the Ross Kyker photography team he had hired to capture the moment, to take a quick snap of the two of them. “Mark turned to me, got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. I was completely clueless, started crying and jumping up and down and nodding while saying ‘yes, yes, yes!'”

After taking photos, the couple wanted to share with his parents, who happened to be staying in the same hotel, and Galina wanted to FaceTime to share the good news with her parents. “We got to the room and there were my parents waiting to congratulate us. Needless to say it was a very special Valentines day to remember!”
