Love and pancakes! For some these have two separate meanings, but for Holly and Adannay this combination marked the next milestone to their love story.
Holly, aware of Adannay’s desire for shared photographs and touched by their mutual love for cooking, orchestrated a surprise photoshoot to weave the perfect proposal for her beloved. The plan was simple yet incredibly heartfelt: a morning filled with a surprise photoshoot amidst the cozy ambience of their Airbnb in London that would lead to a memorable proposal during their shared love of pancake-making.
“Holly and Adannay shared that one of the signs that told them they were right for each other was their shared enjoyment of cooking and good food. Pancake brunches had become a weekend tradition for them, and it was such a compliment to be asked to document such an intimate ritual. They had a flour fight and I watched how warm and comfortable they were with each other,” shares photographer Jess Rose.
As they plated their pancakes and sat down for their brunch, Holly spoke beautiful words before getting down on one knee. Adannay, beaming with joy, said yes to a lifetime filled with love, friendship, support, and of course, more weekends of shared pancakes.
