Best of 2017: Dapper Style

Wedding dresses might steal most of the buzz when it comes to wedding fashion, but that doesn’t mean the suits aren’t seriously stylish. From three-piece suits to vest-only looks, we loved the mix of colors and textures that couples donned in 2017. Shades of blue were particularly popular, further cementing the timelessness of the traditional hue, and we also saw a lot of statement accessories, from vibrant pocket squares and bow ties to eye-catching boutonnieres. But what we loved most was seeing the way couples infused their personalities into their attire. Here are the 10 most dapper looks we featured in 2017.

Kyle and Kevin looked polished and positively dapper in their matching, custom-made tuxedos by Tom Ford. We love the texture on their navy jackets, and their colorful accessories were the perfect choice for their Fall wedding. | photo by Bénédicte Verley Photography

Monique’s wedding outfit was completely custom made. After a series of appointments at Sharpe Suiting, she helped design the pants, shirt and vest and paired it with a custom made bow tie and pocket square from her favorite bow tie shop. And to complete the look, she chose wooden cufflinks engraved with a tandem bicycle. | photo by Maya Myers Photography

A wooden bow tie was the only standout accessory this groom needed to elevate his dapper ensemble by Giannetos for one of our favorite shoots of the year — a dreamy destination styled shoot in Mykonos with copper and indigo details! | photo by George Pahountis Photographer

The jacket, the bow tie and the boutonniere — we can’t decide which is our favorite. But one thing is for sure, they look fashion-forward and super chic when paired together for a trendy styled shoot. | photo by Hattie Root Photography

Travis also went the custom suit route for his Baltimore wedding. He meticulously helped choose every detail to create the look he had envisioned for his romantic wedding to Kate. | photo by Bethanne Arthur Photography

This might not be from a wedding, but we had to include Shana’s impeccable style for her fashionable family photo shoot with her wife, Brittney, and their adorable son, Wilder, who’s looking quite dapper himself if we do say so ourselves. | photo by Sandra Costello Photography

Samia Halil

Samia and Khalil wed in a Greek castle, so it’s only fitting that Khalil was perfectly dressed for the part. His cream-colored suit and mint accessories pair perfectly with a blue thistle boutonniere. | photo by Phosart Photography and Cinematography
