[WATCH] Sweet Facebook Proposal Video (with a Mark Zuckerberg Cameo!)

Ah, Facebook. What would we do without it? While it remains a constant source of connection for friends and family, for Steve and Nafis, it was the beginning of happily ever after.

Steve met his girlfriend in 2007 after “poking” her (remember those days?), and after interacting for awhile via pokes and messages, they agreed to meet in person. After a blissful seven-year romance, Steve was ready to take it to the next level and reached out to Facebook about coming to the Menlo Park campus (under the guise of winning a contest) and proposing to his girlfriend there.

Throughout their relationship, they never revealed to their friends that they had met online (my how things have changed!), but for the proposal, they came full circle to pay tribute to how they met. So the Toronto-based couple flew to California and with the help of Facebook employees, Steve pulled off the ultimate surprise. Watch the oh-so-sweet proposal video below (which includes a cameo by Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg!). Congrats to the happy couple!
