Make-out sessions on a cliff, snuggles at a waterfall … oh my goodness, today's engagement session is just filled with the most epic shots, incredible chemistry, and a love story that will make you swoon.
“We knew we were each others soulmate when we couldn't even go a few days without seeing one another. We lived in different towns and there was an emptiness every time we would part ways. We knew then, that we were inseparable,” says the brides-to-be, who got engaged about a year and a half after they started dating.
The sweethearts got engaged during a New Year's Eve party at a friend's house. “Our friends asked us to come outside and watch the fireworks going off in the neighborhood,” reminisces Amber. “As I walked outside, I saw a hockey goal lit up with lights, with the words ‘will you marry me' hanging across the front in yellow and blue letters. We are HUGE Nashville Predators fans so the hockey goal was a symbol of such. Alyssa was down on one knee holding a ring. I was so shocked I gasped and put my hands up to my face. I felt such love and happiness, so many emotions hit me all at once. This was the moment I had been waiting for.”
Their unique engagement shoot location was in Harpeth River State Park, where the natural surroundings of cliffs and waterfalls gave them the perfect backdrop to show off their love, captured by Kristen Paige Photography. And they enlisted Love List member Allyson Roe Makeup Artistry to help achieve a picture-perfect beauty look.
