Red and Black Wedding Inspiration at Charlotte Museum

This Red-and-Black Wedding Inspo Is Giving Modern Valentine’s

There’s no doubt about it … this bold and modern city elopement has stolen our hearts!

A team of creatives in Charlotte, North Carolina not only captured the passionate side of love with this fiery design, but they achieved their main objective, too.

“The goal is to show couples and vendors that a wedding doesn’t have to look ‘eco-friendly' or ‘green' for it to be a more eco-conscious event,” states the photographer Alisha of Him & Her Photography.

With the Mint Museum to set the scene, the light and airy space was deepened with shades of red and black.

Though minimal, the table decor truly popped with dark tableware amongst the bright red flower arrangements consisting of anemones, dahlias, and roses.

Other noteworthy features are the sleek yet simple ceremony setup, the mini champagne tower display, the chic stationery, the incredible buttercream cake with handpainted flowers and the personalized sugar cookies that incorporated red flowers from the design.

.And let us not fail to mention the style!

“The gown was chosen because it was romantic, but still modern with a classic silhouette. Pearls are found throughout the bride’s look,” shares Alisha. “The groom had a quick outfit change that went from a warm red suit, to a classic black suit.”

We give you full permission to throw all the x’s and o’s to this feature!
