Julian and Coltin's summer engagement session in Wemberley, Texas, is equal parts playful, polished, and personal.
Julian, a content creator, and Coltin, a producer for NBC, recently relocated from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas, marking the start of their next chapter with a dreamy engagement shoot in nearby Wimberley.
Julian and Coltin had only been engaged for a week when they met with their photographer to capture their love story. “We wanted something that felt very natural and green, around the Austin area,” shares the pair. The location was the perfect backdrop to celebrate their connection, with its relaxed, nature-filled vibe and romantic scenery.
The couple met online and quickly realized there was something special between them. After a lovely Italian dinner on their first date, they followed it up with a beach outing the very next day. Two years later, they were engaged in April — during an unforgettable trip to New York City.
“It was Coltin’s first time in the city,” says Julian. “We went to Washington Square Park on our first night, then had dinner at Alice in the Village.” It was there that Julian popped the question in front of the entire restaurant. Coltin, overwhelmed with joy, recalls, “I didn’t see anyone else in that tiny, dimly lit little New York restaurant. Just my baby.”
Julian proposed with a stunning rose gold ring featuring a 2.5 carat emerald — a meaningful choice, as emerald is Colombia’s national gem (Julian’s home country) and also happens to be Coltin’s favorite stone. “Green is our favorite color,” they added. “And the emerald made it that much more special.”
After the proposal, they continued the celebration at Dante NYC, where personalized cocktails with their faces printed on the foam added a fun, creative twist to the night.
Their engagement session reflected the couple’s vibrant style and deep affection. There was a formal look in which they wore coordinated suits in elegant tones, including a green that echoed the emerald ring. They also sported laid-back but colorful outfits that felt fresh and relaxed in the natural surroundings. And last but certainly not least, they smiled in shorts with fun poolside vibes, showing off their lighthearted side and chemistry.
Every photo was filled with sweet embraces, hand-holding, kisses, and candid smiles — capturing the comfort and love they share so effortlessly.
As Julian beautifully put it, “Coltin makes me feel at home always. I remember looking at him and feeling safe and taken care of very early on.” And in Coltin’s words: “I thought, I get to spend the rest of my life with this man… thrilled that each day from now on is one more toward a future we build together and keep building.”
The two are planning a 2026 wedding in Colombia.
