One of our favorite ways to relax and give our skin some much-needed love is with a good ol' face mask, especially one you can create with ingredients you likely already have in your home — because, let's face it, you've been dishing out your credit card for far too many wedding-related purchases lately.

We've found five super easy DIY face mask recipes with nourishing, replenishing ingredients, such as honey, aloe vera, coconut oil, avocado and even ground coffee, that are perfect for any soonlywed. Whether you want to crack open a beer and catch up on your favorite shows or invite a group of friends over for a night of relaxation, these face masks will not only get your skin wedding-ready, but will also offer a much-needed reprieve from the stressors of planning!

Coffee Face Mask

While coffee is an essential component in most morning routines, it also deserves to be a staple in your skin care routine. With anti-inflammatory properties that calm the skin, antioxidants to banish bacteria and a texture that’s perfect for gentle exfoliation, this coffee face mask will refresh your skin and leave it feeling silky smooth.

Recipe

1 egg white
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
12 cup ground coffee

Directions: Separate the white from the yolk of one large egg and whisk the egg white until frothy. Add 12 cup ground coffee to the egg white and stir. Fold in honey and freshly squeezed lemon juice, and mix all ingredients until combined. Massage the mask into your skin using gentle circular motions, and let it sit on your skin for 15 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

Pumpkin and Honey Face Mask

Now that PSL’s are back at Starbucks, it’s officially okay to indulge in all things pumpkin, and you can begin with this pumpkin and honey mask! With four simple ingredients and the nourishing properties of pumpkin and coconut oil, this face mask will moisturize your skin and leave it looking revitalized and luminous.

Recipe

12 cup canned pumpkin
2 tablespoons almond milk
2 tablespoons raw honey
1 teaspoon coconut oil

Directions: Mix ingredients together in a small bowl until you reach a smooth, creamy consistency. Apply a light layer to the skin for 10 to 15 minutes, and rinse with warm water. 

Turmeric Face Mask

Turmeric is one of the beauty industry’s favorite ingredients as of late. This bright yellow spice is known to work wonders for the skin, from brightening the skin and reducing dark circles and redness to fighting acne. Along with cucumber juice, aloe vera and plain yogurt, this refreshing turmeric face mask will aid in balancing your complexion so your skin is wedding-ready!

Recipe

1 pinch of turmeric
2 tablespoons plain yogurt
2 tablespoons cucumber juice
1 tablespoon aloe vera 

Directions: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until well combined, and apply mask to the skin. Keep it on for 15 to 20 minutes, and rinse with warm water.

Egg White and Avocado Face Mask

No, this isn’t a recipe for avocado toast — although why not whip up a quick snack while you’re waiting for this egg white and avocado face mask to work its magic on your skin since you'll already have all the ingredients handy? With only a few elements that you already likely have in your fridge, this nourishing face mask is the perfect solution for fighting dry skin and will leave your face feeling supple and smooth.

Recipe

1 egg white
14 avocado
1 teaspoon plain yogurt

Directions: Mash 14 an avocado with a fork in a small bowl until smooth. Add in the yogurt and egg white and stir well. Apply a thick coat to the face, let sit for 15 minutes, then rinse with water. 

Banana Oat Face Mask

Oatmeal is a prominent ingredient in many face masks as its gentle texture provides both nourishing and exfoliating benefits. You can either blend the oats for a smoother texture or leave them in their natural form for a chunky face mask, but whichever you prefer, your skin is sure to feel hydrated and refreshed after this banana oat face mask.

Recipe

12 ripe banana
2 tablespoons dry oats
2 teaspoons plain yogurt
1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions: Mash half a banana into a bowl, then add yogurt, olive oil and oats and mix until combined. Apply liberally to the face, and leave on for up to 30 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water.
