This Lisa Frank Wedding Inspo Is Basically Our Dreamworld

The 90s are back baby! Well maybe not the decade, but the style of the decade totally is. And after you see this colorful Lisa Frank-inspired wedding shoot, you’re going to feel the nostalgia!

“Growing up, like every other millennial, we were absolutely obsessed with Lisa Frank! If it had rainbows, kittens and candy I was in! Fast forward to the 2020s, and the 90s are back in style. This editorial was a total passion project for everyone involved,” exclaims Katie of Fruitvale Designs, who was the planner and designer of the editorial.

While the shoot came together flawlessly, the team of San Diego wedding creatives worked hard at keeping the aesthetic cohesive.

”Lisa Frank is actually a very nuanced aesthetic which includes a wide combinations of concepts and colors: it’s animals, it’s neons, it’s rainbow, it’s pastel and iridescent! Creating a wedding palette from all those required walking a fine line,” continues Katie. “We worked very hard to create a set of colors that felt authentic to the source material while still maintaining a contemporary wedding vibe.”

A vibe that totally came to life. Iridescent table linens, clear Chiavari chairs, neon rainbow icons, colorful goblets, quirky floral arrangements, a colorful balloon arch, and a bright red lip on the model bride all brought the vision to life.

As if we couldn’t love the color and poppin’ details more, the food and sweets were a delectable touch! Cotton candy, tie-dyed treats, zebra print on the three-tiered cake, candy-inspired cocktails, AND colored chocolate fountains?! We’re living for it all.
