Step into a modern-day Romeo and Juliet tale in North Carolina with exquisite details, bold colors, and nods to the 1998 film.
Feast your eyes on this editorial that’s as enchanting as they come! Inspired by a modern-day version of the classic tale of Romeo and Juliet, wedding professionals in North Carolina put forth their talents to define the generational love story through exquisite detail.
“This shoot leans into bright colors and kitsch ending with a recreation of the pivotal pool scene,” shares lead planner and stylist behind the styled shoot, Megan Hardy-Helms of Hosea House. “Dreamy textures, celestial references and nods to iconography are lovingly curated by inclusive and celebratory vendors.”
Each portrait throughout the gallery displays a scene of eye-catching elements. While things like the venue, antique candelabras, tall candles in glass vases, concrete tablescape, ornate china, and muted flowers showed the timeless romanticism, there were other details that shined light on present-day trends.
Boldly colored floral arrangements, the model groom’s vividly printed shirt, the regal cake design, and the retro blue car all added fresh spins. Not to mention the reinvented pool scene inspired from the 1996 movie adaptation splashed us with its steamy moments and creative nuances. Additionally the model bride's wedding dresses really portray the evolution of dress styles, taking us from more conservative to trendy through her looks.
If you adore an old-meets-new celebration, you will surely enjoy these images of this journey of love!
