Brandon and Paul wanted to bring the magic of Christmas into their wedding day, and chose Pepin Mansion, a historic bed-and-breakfast in Indiana, to bring their vision to life. “We loved the quaint romanic feeling and we could totally see our romantic Christmas wedding unfolding there,” says the grooms. “Our theme was old time-y, Christmas romance. It was black tie, and everything was Christmas greenery, crimson and gold.”
The couple got ready with Brandon's kids, all in adorable matching flannel pajamas, before changing into their handsome matching white dinner jackets. With Christmas trees as the ceremony backdrop, they exchanged self-written vows, and Paul even surprised Brandon and also wrote vows for their kids — creating a particularly heartfelt family moment.
After sealing the deal with a confetti-sprinkled kiss, they had their first dance (which their son Xander adorably cut into!), followed by a father-father-daughter dance with their daughter Kerrington. And during the reception, everyone was treated to a surprise appearance by — who else? — Santa!
