BEST OF 2021: Bouquets & Boutonnieres

There’s no better way to kick off our Best of 2021 series than with some seriously stunning floral designs. This past year we’ve featured tons of beautiful blooms that contain such expressive palettes and unique structures — so much that rounding up our top picks was quite the challenge! Wild, organic, quaint, or elaborate, flowers have the ability to enhance and transform your wedding day decor. These bouquets and boutonnieres were about to show you have no doubt left us speechless with their creativity.

This over-the-top wedding bouquet from Karina and Stacie’s autumnal elopement did not disappoint. The abundance of greenery with a statement dahlia and pops of burgundy fit the style and beauty of this eccentric wedding day flawlessly. Bring on the bold! We love that color is making a comeback so when we first locked eyes with the bouquet (and basically all the flowers) of this vibrant Royal Tennenbaum-inspired styled shoot, it was love at first sight. It’s not often you see bouquets without any greenery, but this design is proof that greenery isn’t always necessary in order to have striking flowers! WOW. This bouquet design just about sent us over the edge. The earthy-meets-edgy look comes with no lack of personality. It’s wild and organic, yet encompassed the glampy-yet-vintage vibe of this western styled shoot with ease. In other words it really is all that. We love when classic wedding elements get modernized. The placement of this boutonniere draped over the pant suit from this retro Valentine’s Day-inspired styled shoot instantly kicked up the level of style; taking the old-school positioning of the floral design and making it a statement of its own. A rooftop garden wedding calls for some jaw-dropping flowers. Danielle and Greg understood the assignment … and they nailed it! We especially loved Greg’s jewel-toned boutonniere as it was longer in width than length and lined his suit jacket pocket for a crisp look. Sometimes less is more. Which is why we adored the dainty styled boutonnieres featured in this modern Palm Springs wedding styled shoot. The playful yet sophisticated design fused well with the theme and is proof that little details carry big charm! Floral Design by Vaso Bello Celebrations | Photography by Allie Lindsey Photography
