We’ve seen a lot of charming styled shoots in our day, but if there was ever one that was as quaint as it is modern — well, this one takes the cake!
This team of wedding pros headed to the historic boutique hotel of Sparrows Lodge aiming to mix the cozy aesthetic with a stylish Palm Springs flair. “Sparrows Lodge got its start as the Red Barn Inn, built in 1952 by MGM actor Don Castle and his wife Zetta as a desert getaway for their Hollywood friends. Its aesthetic is cozy and earthy and perfect for a micro wedding buyout,” says designer and planner Michelle Garibay of Michelle Garibay Events.
From the wildy romantic floral designs to the small camping graphics, every detail added the perfect touch in such a way that’s playful, but still sophisticated. Ceramic table decor, earth-toned stationery, and contemporary lantern designs all sat atop the warm wood hairpin table, with an epic wedding cake displayed nearby.
And we can’t forget to mention that timeless convertible and those flavorful signature drinks; noting that we weren’t the only ones to adore the detail that they added. “Throw in a classic getaway convertible and some fun cocktails, those grooms were happy campers!”
