Bold with superior detail, there’s nothing we don’t love about this wow-worthy editorial. The fresh spin on the vintage-nature design was inspired by the 2001 film, The Royal Tenenbaums. “Vintage finds, over-the-top florals, a delicious color palette and posing taken directly from film stills is a perfect, modern take on the hit,” says planner and designer Megan Hardy of Hosea House.
Uptown Indigo in North Carolina was the perfect spot to host the occasion with a remarkable vendor team filling the space with an industrial yet antique ceremony set up, a beautifully dressed sweetheart table, and old-school accents. They were also able to find the perfect models to portray characters from the movie. “This shoot [was] centered around our real-life married couple Laura who played our Margot and her partner Hayli who acted as our Richie. Hayli is nearly two years out from their top surgery and we were able to showcase that through dynamic styling with inclusive and affirming wedding professionals,” notes Megan.
There is certainly no lack of style to be had with this montage of photos taken by Rebecca Stone Photography. So grab your popcorn and enjoy these highlights from the big screen!
