With family coming in from both the U.S. mainland and the Philippines, Kashika and Joseph knew that Hawaii was the perfect meeting point for their destination wedding. “We knew we wanted it Oahu because we fell in love with the island on our first time there — we knew we just had to come back again and because most of our family have not been to Oahu,” says the bride.
For their wedding-day vision, they wanted a mix of garden and beach. “Bayer Estate was the perfect place and it didn't hurt that we loved watching Hawaii Five-O given that they use the house as a the main character's house.”
After exchanging their vows in a local church, the bride, wearing a gorgeous BHLDN wedding dress, and the groom, looking dapper in a bright blue Kenneth Cole suit, celebrated with their friends and family in the venue's backyard. Frothy light blue hydrangeas paired with coral roses topped the tables and the couple paid homage to the local culture with leis and authentic floral crowns.
