Jenny and Tara wanted a wedding that stayed true to them, fitting their personalities and budget. With an outside ceremony as a must, they decided to exchange vows at La Foret Retreat Center, surrounded only by Colorado‘s magnificent landscape.
Sunflowers and handmade decorations created an atmosphere that was simply, and beautifully, them. “We decided on a rustic, casual wedding with yard games and a barbecue food truck for dinner. We had to have sun flowers and my favorite color, navy blue. The combo ended up looking beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!”
But as fun as the party was, it was the emotional moments that really stole the show. “My favorite part was seeing my beautiful wife at the end of the aisle waiting for me! Nothing else mattered in that moment and I let it show — I cried the whole time!” says one of the brides. “The party after was a blast but the quiet/alone moments we had together were the most memorable.”
