The popular music service Spotify just released the most popular wedding songs of 2014 and John Legend's “All of Me” tops the charts (thanks Kimye). The playlists are a mix of old and new, and Ed Sheeran's “Thinking Out Loud” earned top honors as the most popular for first dance songs and with lyrics like this, it's easy to see why:
And, darling, I will be loving you 'til we're 70
And, baby, my heart could still fall as hard at 23
And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways
Maybe just the touch of a hand
Well, me – I fall in love with you every single day
And I just wanna tell you I am
Swoon!
Because it's a “list of the most listened to song across wedding-themed playlists on Spotify,” there are only a few reception party-worthy tunes that made the list. There are a few fun ones thrown in there (“Blurred Lines” gets me on the dance floor every time) but it's certainly a great source of inspiration if you're on the hunt for ceremony music or first dance song. Check out the top tracks after the jump:
