Think about it, would you let the public decide the details for your wedding day?

How about if those details were chosen from options of the industry's top talents, orchestrated by BRIDES magazine and worth a million bucks? (Your answer totally changed, didn't it?)

Our friends at BRIDES are once again giving one lucky couple a million dollar wedding with their annual Live Wedding contest and entries for the 2014 nuptials begin today. To enter, couples must submit a recent photograph, a two-minute video demonstrating why they deserve to win, and essays of 150 words each answering the following questions:

  • Tell Brides.com about yourselves
  • Tell Brides.com how you met/fell in love
  • Tell Brides.com why you would want a live wedding
  • Tell Brides.com which charity you would support and why

Beginning in January, the public will help choose one lucky couple followed by each detail of their wedding—from the flowers to the cake to the tuxedos. (And yes, both straight and same-sex couples are encouraged to enter!) All details will be put to public vote on Facebook and revealed during the live stream of the wedding. For every vote, which is indicated by a “Like” on Facebook, BRIDES will donate funds to the winning couple’s charity of choice.

Want to enter but not sure where to start? Check out the audition video below and wedding video from last year's winning couple, Briana and Jason, who received a “beach chic” dream wedding at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort (planned by Love List member A.a.B. Creates!) and honeymoon in the Cayman Islands.
