Tiffany & Co. Stars Same-Sex Couple in New Ad Campaign

That little blue box has been synonymous with engagements for more than a century but in the scene that's pictured, it's always been a man on bended knee in front of his girlfriend. But Tiffany & Co. has now illustrated that dream for men who may be hoping his boyfriend has something up his sleeve.

In their most recent engagement ring ad campaign, they featured a real-life same-sex couple (wait really? These cuties aren't models?!). “Nowadays, the road to marriage is no longer linear, and true love can happen more than once with love stories coming in a variety of forms,” said Linda Buckley, Tiffany & Co. VP of North American PR, in a statement to ELLE.com. “The Tiffany engagement ring is the first sentence of the story that a couple will write together as they create a life that is deeply intimate and exceptional, which is the message we hope to convey through this campaign.”

We're thrilled that the iconic brand is now representing same-sex couples for one of life's most treasured moments. Now if they could just add some handsome bands to their engagement ring collection …
