Set on a pastoral property with gorgeous grounds featuring a covered bridge and a historic red barn, Brittany and Josh created a wedding weekend that was full of celebrations and sweet moments.
Her grandmother played the role of flower tosser (“she was so excited to throw those petals!”) and they tapped their wedding party to officiate. “We wanted officiants who knew us and our story, so it only made sense to ask the closest people to us,” says Brittany. “Only the wedding party knew about this, so it was a surprise to all of our guests when they took the mics.”
Moments such as the first look and last dance were beautifully captured by Mason Photography. “It was important for us to find time during the day to just enjoy the moment with each other, which is why our two favorite moments were our first look and last dance. For our first look, we were both just so excited to see each other and that’s when the day finally felt real,” says the bride. “For our last dance, we had all our guests leave the venue to line up for our exit and we spent the whole song talking about our favorite parts of the day and how perfect everything had been.”
