Like any great love story, Nicole and Stephen started out as friends, which later unexpectedly escalated to more during a happy hour. A little over a year later, Stephen dropped to one knee.
Nicole and Stephen were drawn to the rustic yet modern design of Canyonwood Ridge, nestled in the heart of Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin. After an emotional first look, they exchanged handwritten vows in the expansive ceremony space with dramatic vaulted ceilings. Afterwards, the dance floor stayed packed as a 10-piece band played between courses served on elegantly designed farm tables with pops of blush, gold, ivory and burgundy. In lieu of a cake, Nicole and Stephen ended their night with an ice cream sundae bar and late-night Whataburgers.
Ross Kyker beautifully captured the day, no detail missed. From the intricate lace of Nicole's Alvina Valenta gown to Stephen's raw emotion during the first look and ceremony (cue the tears!), this real wedding is full of love and inspiration.
