If you're in the midst of wedding planning, you might find yourself shopping for random items like hurricane vases, paper lanterns, wine corks, mason jars, garland, galvanized buckets or trunks. And when you're buying in bulk, it can get pretty expensive! (Which totally defeats the purpose of going the DIY route.) The founders of Eutopia Events, Lauren and Ruthie, realized that their clients ended up with a lot of stuff after their weddings often with no place to store it. This realization spurred the creation of Eventiques, a wedding and event flea market where married couples can sale their wedding wares to soonlyweds. “We wanted to create a centralized, fun-filled place where people could buy and sell such items, all artistically displayed to inspire and help people create a distinctive look for their wedding or event,” the talented duo says. “Décor from past events is given new life by being reused or repurposed for someone else’s wedding, shower, even a birthday party.”

The extensive inventory is beautifully styled and organized, making it easy to navigate through the hundreds of products. Sure beats digging in thrift stores!
The third annual event will be held on Saturday April 11 from 10am-4pm and Sunday April 12 10am-3pm at Eastworks in Easthampton, Mass. Tickets are available online for $5 (you can buy here) or at the door for $8. Happy shopping!
