Today's real wedding feature is filled with gorgeous details, emotional moments and beautiful photography — what more can you ask for?
Catherine and Carrie got ready separately, each having heartwarming moments with their parents as the final touches to their bridal looks were being placed. Catherine even wore her mom's pin with her maiden monogram to honor her — so very special!
After an emotional first look, they partook in a hand-washing ceremony, a symbolic way to start their new lives together with a clean slate. They then headed to Durham Hotel's rooftop overlooking the city, and were each escorted down the aisle by their parents. They exchanged heartfelt vows that had themselves and guests tearing up.
Afterwards, they celebrated with food, drinks and dancing in the hotel's modern restaurant. Carrie and her dad sang a karaoke version of “Friends in Low Places,” which had all of the guests singing with them!
