Wedding bells are ringing! Ever since Prince Harry introduced his girlfriend, Meghan Markle, to the Queen in October, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the announcement of a royal engagement. And on Monday, Clarence House shared the good news — they’re officially engaged! Harry and Meghan, who’s best known for her role in the hit TV show “Suits,” met through mutual friends in June of last year and started dating soon after.
With their fingers interlocked and wide smiles spread across their faces, the newly engaged couple posed for pictures outside the Kensington Palace on Monday after the Prince of Wales announced that the next royal wedding would take place in Spring 2018, seven years after William and Kate's wedding, which still remains one of the most-watched televised events ever.
Meghan was glowing next to her fiancé as she debuted her engagement ring — a stunning three-stone ring with a gold band that Harry designed with diamonds that belonged to his mother, Princess Diana. And although the Prince is remaining tight-lipped about the details of the proposal, which happened earlier this month in London, he assured reporters it was romantic. Congratulations to the happy couple! We can hardly wait to relive the elegance and glamour of another royal wedding!
