It was only fitting that we include the Queen City in our special moment,” says Justin. “The NODA area has a wonderful artsy appeal with vibrant colors and great mix of modern and historic architecture. Uptown Charlotte has an unspoken class which lended itself well to our formal photos.”

The Love Story

The couple met while working at the same company, and during a work trip in the Philippines, sparks flew. When they returned, their friendship swiftly evolved into a lifetime love. “I knew very early on that I wanted to be with Nicholas, even though it was about a year before timing and circumstances allowed us the opportunity to be together,” says Justin.

The Proposal

For Justin's 25th birthday, the couple spent the weekend at Stone Mountain State Park and hiked to the mountain's summit. With the sun dipping down past the horizon, Nicholas proposed to Justin. “It was in one of the very first spots we had ever watched the sunset together over 5 years ago,” exclaim the grooms.
