This family session is beautifully captured at University of Queensland's jacaranda-covered courtyard.
They say life goes faster than you think. Which is why Jenny and Albert chose to slow down and capture some memories with a sweet family session.
“As a busy, career-focussed young couple, Jenny and Albert never got any family photos done — no maternity, newborn or milestone photos,” mentions photographer Isabelle of Hikari Lifestyle Photography. “With a blink of an eye, their eldest is now six years old and they regret not taking the time to document the milestones. They decided to hire me and celebrate how far they've come as a small family of four in Australia, the very place they lived in for the past two decades.”
The couple along with their outgoing eldest son Nathan and adorable toddler Becky knew The University of Queensland would be the perfect spot to document their bond.
“This was a special place for us to have family photos to see our growth as a couple from an ordinary uni couple to now with two kids.”
The journey of their love isn’t the only thing that was flourishing in the photos that evening. Purple jacaranda blossoms provided the perfect backdrop for the family of four who posed in coordinated outfits with neutral tones.
While this was their first time taking photos together, they were complete naturals in front of the camera allowing for the most perfect candid, joyful, and romantic moments to shine brighter than the sun.
As Jenny and Albert reflect on the challenges of growing their family, one thing they make sure to do is have their kids know they are always there for them.
“Being a full time solicitor who works 80 hours a week, my husband works long hours and we don’t always have the luxury of time. But we make protected time on the weekends, plan day trips every now and then to ensure we spend quality family time together,” shares the couple.
