If you're drawn to natural. earthy tones and lush florals, today's inspo is right up your alley. Inspired by the venue's floral ceiling, this team of Portland, Maine creatives brought the botanical garden feel indoors in a crisp, clean and modern way.
“I wanted the flowers to really be the definition of botanical with true earthy, natural tones but still have a brightness to them with rich variations in color but not straying from the botanical garden feel,” says the floral designer, Michelle from Florals by Fittsy. Antique glass frogs held single stems while the asymmetrical centerpiece crowned the flowing soft blue table runner. “The Danforth has an eclectic undertone so I wanted the tablescape to be slightly modern with a funky vase as the centerpiece but still pure and clean to draw attention to the botanical florals and the greenery wall which were inspired by the ceiling mural in their lounge. I drew in the fun elements with the marbleized nail polish eggs and the purple salad plates, water glasses, and vase from Anthropologie.”
The Danforth Inn's bright blue and yellow furniture added bold pops, and the cake continued the floral design with edible adhesive film looked as if it was hand-painted by Monet himself.
