Cheyenne Jackson Weds Jason Landau!

cheyenne-jackson-marriedWow, it was certainly a big weekend for celebrity weddings! “Glee” and “30 Rock” actor Cheyenne Jackson tied the knot with entrepreneur Jason Landau on Saturday in front of a star-studded guest list that included Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jane Lynch, Leah Remini and Alicia Silverstone.

Being from Idaho, Cheyenne described his desire to have a woodsy but elegant aesthetic. “There were branches of trees hovering over the tennis court we're on with over 100 mini chandeliers draping the entire party. It was gorgeous,” he reveals to People. (Doesn't that sound gorgeous?!)

Cheyenne and Jason, who looked dashing in Calvin Klein and John Varvatos tuxes, respectively, made sure to include their mothers in the ceremony. In perhaps one of the sweetest ceremonial moments we've heard of, the grooms' mothers came to the altar to give their sons kisses on the cheek, symbolizing that they've been given away to one another. Tissue, please!

And after the heartfelt ceremony, the reception sounded like it was one huge, epic dance party. As Jason writes on his Instagram with the above photo, “Rule # 1 to getting married.. Have the best girlfriends in the world surrounding you. Rule#2: do a badass choreographed MJ number by the one and only @lisetteslife and kill it and then hand out the appropriate apparel.”

The newlyweds are not being strangers with showcasing their happiness to their fans. Cheyenne and Jason both shared the above photo with Cheyenne writing, “My Jewish Prince @jasonrlandau on the best night ever. Period.” and Jason responding with, “A new life begins and I am the luckiest man in this world… Heart full and my feet are done. I love you@mrcheyennejackson thank you for making me your husband today. Goodnight!”

Congratulations and best of luck to the happy couple!

As a lover of all things wedding and a fierce cheerleader for marriage equality, I decided to marry my two passions and create a resource where all couples—gay, straight and lesbian—can be equally represented. Armed with seven years in both print and online lifestyle journalism, I dove headfirst into this passion project in 2013 and Love Inc. was born. I’m inspired every day by the couples that grace our pages, from the can’t-live-without-you grasps to the gentle sweeping away of a happy tear, the love that they so clearly have for each other is intoxicating, and drives me to create the best product possible … while enjoying every second of it.
