Barbiecore Wedding Inspiration for Our Girly Pop Dreams

Welcome to a world of whimsy and romance where creativity collides in this Barbie wedding inspiration shoot!

Led by a talented vendor team, this shoot forwent soft colors and put fresh spins on traditional elements.

“We tested the boundaries of floral arrangements by incorporating bold statement pieces, such as the baby’s breath boa and earrings that were crafted from live flowers!,” shares planner Taryn Blake Events. ”Modern accents such as the ghost pillars and chairs gave a luxe feel to the design. The stationery and signage were the perfect touch of retro kitsch and tied the theme together perfectly.”

Every inch of the tablescape set at Hazelwood Weddings was dazzling in hues of bright pinks, reds, and golds made up by candles, stemmed vases, and red linen napkins. Contemporary flatware, charger plates and ghost chairs completed the look, with key chains mimicking Barbie’s iconic style doubling as place cards and favors.

The retro font continued into the bar signs that displayed fun signature cocktail names in the sunset pigments with an abundance of blooms propped behind for some extra color.

Beyond the aesthetics, it was the real-life love of Lauren and Bailey that truly stole the show. The pair who married in 2023 laughed, flirted, and playfully posed their way through the shoot donning the prettiest gowns, pops of pink makeup, and the coolest Barbie-inspired shoes.

With excitement, Taryn expressed the intentions of this design. “We hope to see more bold ideas and vibrant color palettes throughout the wedding season!”
