There are so many reasons to get engagement pictures taken, but among our favorite is that it gives a photographer the opportunity to capture the essence of a couple’s relationship — the fun they have together, the smiles they share and the kisses they cherish. And when Naba Zabih Photography joined Aley and Pat at Alys Beach in the Florida Panhandle for their engagement photos, she did exactly that.
We adore these images of Aley and Pat, who met at work and got engaged on the night of Aley’s graduation from Paramedic school. Aley claims Pat is terrible at keeping secrets, but he managed to surprise her with a romantic dinner that her whole family joined in on before getting down on one knee at sunset with rose petals scattered at their feet. These glowing soonlyweds plan to say “I do” later this year, but until then, we’ll be swooning over these stunning engagement photos where their love practically leaps off the screen.
