Some love stories begin with a grand gesture. Others begin with friendship, timing, and countless conversations that slowly turn into something undeniable. For Anjelica and Nicole, it was a little bit of both.
The couple first met while working at the same company, but it wasn’t until two years later that their connection truly deepened. Fast forward to a dreamy trip to Paris, where Nicole planned a proposal straight out of a movie scene. That same intentionality and intimacy of their proposal carried into every detail of their elegant autumn wedding.
The couple instantly fell in love with the secluded garden venue at Park Winters in California, drawn to its natural beauty and cozy atmosphere. “We loved the secluded location, the colors of the garden, we wanted a very intimate ceremony,” they shared.
Their wedding aesthetic perfectly reflected the season without leaning too heavily into a traditional theme. Warm rust tones, crisp whites, lush greenery, and hints of gold created a refined yet inviting atmosphere.
The outdoor ceremony space felt straight out of a fall editorial spread. Gold chiavari chairs lined the aisle while lush colored florals framed the gardens in warm autumn tones. As one of their closest friends officiated the ceremony after becoming ordained specifically for the occasion, a live string quartet played softly in the background. Anjelica and Nicole exchanged handwritten vows beneath the open sky, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight as happy tears filled the ceremony.
Their first look was equally emotional; darling, heartwarming, and beautifully intimate. Tucked away from the excitement of the day, the moment gave them a chance to fully soak each other in before the festivities began, creating one of the most memorable parts of the entire celebration.
Fashion-wise, the brides delivered two completely distinct yet equally stunning looks.
Nicole wore a custom-tailored suit complete with a bespoke vest embroidered with skull motifs she adored. Adding a sleek, fashion-forward edge, her trousers featured a black trim detail that gave the overall look a modern touch while still feeling timeless and elevated.
Meanwhile, Anjelica embraced bridal glamour in an elegant A-line gown, lavishly adorned with intricate beading and embroidery. She paired the gown with romantic off-the-shoulder sleeves, sparkling beaded shoes that perfectly complemented the gown’s texture, and an unforgettable 10-foot cathedral veil that floated beautifully through the gardens.
The couple admitted they adored every detail of the wedding, but the florals and cake especially stole their hearts. Their elegant custom cake embodied the clean, romantic aesthetic of the day, while the dessert bar gave guests an extra sweet experience. In a heartfelt nod to their Paris proposal, guests received custom cookies inspired by the design details from the trip that started their engagement story.
Dinner was served al fresco beneath glowing bistro lights that mirrored the warmth of the candlelit tablescapes below. Gold-rimmed chargers added another layer of sophistication to the reception design, while the flicker of candlelight created an intimate, romantic atmosphere as guests enjoyed a plated, locally sourced dinner together under the evening sky.
Candid photos were taken and heartfelt voice messages were left throughout the night; leaving Anjelica and Nicole tangible moments that they are able to relive for years to come.
