Waterfront Chesapeake Bay Wedding with Glam Details

When you think of beach weddings, you don't particularly think “glam” but Emily and Tyler beautifully infused the two styles for their wedding weekend at the Hyatt in Chesapeake Bay, Virginia, captured by J.Nicole Photography. “We knew we wanted somewhere on the water,” says Emily. “We also wanted a place that would make the weekend special. Being at the Hyatt, we were able to have family and friends come in and stay the entire weekend with us. It's also a special place that we plan to visit and spend our anniversary weekends!” 

Not satisfied with the ballroom decor, they worked with Drape Kings to transform the space with beautiful fabrics and chandeliers. Towering glass vases filled with seashells and pink blooms were set on tables and the DJ kept the gobo-lit dance floor filled the entire night as Emily twirled in her princess-worthy Hayley Paige gown and Tyler in his custom Joseph Abboud suit. Guests were invited to join in an after-party bonfire on-site with s'mores (a nod to how they met) and were also sent home with favors for their dogs: bride and groom dog biscuits! “We put these in bags that said ‘From our pup to yours' and they were the biggest hit of the night — there were none left over!”
