Seven years together led to an exciting beachfront proposal at The Cadillac in Miami for Jamar and Alec.
After a first date that included fireworks (yes, literal fireworks), they continued to build their relationship off a strong foundation. It was just a few months after, they quickly realized they were made for one another.
With two photographers and one videographer lined up, Jamar had everything in place to propose to Alec on their upcoming trip to Miami Beach. “As we walked along the beach, the photographers discreetly followed us and captured the moment of me asking him to marry me,” recalled Jamar. “I was very nervous as we were walking along the beach because I wanted to make sure I said my speech without forgetting anything and also not to walk too far past the photographers, but it all worked out naturally.”
As for Alec's reaction, “My immediate thought was YES. I know I can start a family with him as I blindly trust him no matter where I am, or what I am doing. I know I can count on Jamar to hold it down and do right, without my input or supervision. Our love for each other has been undeniable since the moment we met.”
