Colorful, Whimsical Wedding Style Inspired by Nature

We are big fans of inspiration that exudes happiness and can’t think of anything more cheerful than this editorial filled with color, style, and uniqueness!

At Coutts Centre in Southern Alberta, the whimsical romance of this epic design flourished in every sense of the word. “The inspiration behind this shoot came from how colorful and different wildflowers can be, yet they work together in perfect harmony. The vision was to create a vibrant and bright look that is balanced by elements in white and blush to create a romantic and elegant, yet whimsical feel,” stated visionary of the details, Kate of Events by Kate.

With a theme surrounding the beauty of nature, it only made sense to have the most stunning, yet unordinary of flowers take centerstage in the design; an assignment that was understood and well achieved. “Tavia with Sweet Bloom took our vision to heart and hand-picked each individual flower to create stunning pieces that evoked the feeling of flowers freshly picked from the field. Poppies from one of the venue’s gardens were incorporated, which created a strong connection to the space,” mentions Kate.

A floral appliqué dress, bloom-inspired cocktail names, a cake complete with gorgeous sugar flowers, and the diamond ring set in the shape of the flower are just some of the other many impressive details that caught our eyes in these photos by Nadine McKenney Photography that included real-life couple Melissa and Paige.

Get ready folks, because the enchantment of this one really gives meaning to the saying “In a field of roses, be a wildflower.”
