Jaime and Natalie have been together for three years, but Jaime knew on their first date that they had something special. “I fell for Natalie almost immediately after meeting her. She had that something I had been searching for I and knew that after our first date. We spent the entire night beneath a tree on the Toronto Island, but it wasn't until our second date that I knew exactly what that something was. We spent the entire day together walking around the city and then saw a show at a local comedy club here. She held my hand beneath the table while her laugh rang through my ears and in that moment there was a lightness I had never felt before. That has been life with Natalie ever since; happy, hopeful, and full of love.”
And for Natalie, it was a camping road trip that sealed the deal. “We took a road trip a few hours north to go camping. We got to live just the two of us for a few days and it was lovely. We were surrounded by beautiful blue water and green forests. We snuggled around fires, jumped off a cliff into the water below, and walked a cute town. I knew that weekend that she was mine forever.”
For their shoot with Tom Armstrong Photography, they strolled and smooched their way through Toronto's Kensington Market, taking advantage of the lively atmosphere and Instagram-worthy walls. “We have forever loved the atmosphere of Kensington Market. It is always beaming with amazing energy, people, music and food. While thinking about the perfect place for this shoot, we wanted an honest depiction of our life together in the city. We wanted to look very natural but also a little stylish. We share most of our clothes and have the same fashion sense and wanted to make that obvious!”
