We jumped on the Sophia Webster bandwagon very early (our Fashion Editor, Krista Roser, has been obsessed with her designs for years) so you can imagine the squeals of delight here at Love Inc. HQ when we found out the British shoe designer just launched a bridal collection.
Of the collection, Webster says, “When I first decided to do bridal shoes I was not yet married so thinking about what I would wear for my wedding was a great starting point!” She continues, “As the collection was being brought to life I imagined all sorts of women slipping into the shoes and feeling like queens for that special day. With that in mind I wanted to use really feminine touches like satin uppers, crystal heels and gem stones, all in delicate tones that would work with classic dresses but add a little flourish.”
The bridal line is a tad toned down in comparison to her ready-to-wear but is no less a fresh update to the typical bridal shoe style thanks to gem embellishments, whimsical marabou pom-poms, unique silhouettes, bold colors and fun sayings such as “Happily Ever After” and “Wifey for Lifey” stamped on the soles. Admittedly, the price point is on the high end (ranging from $475-$720) but if you're a shoe fiend, you might have just found your new favorite — and your shoe shot is guaranteed to be epic.
