This Proposal Was Pulled Off With a Little Help From Friends!

Under the guise that he was on a golf trip, Kurt surprised his girlfriend, Sam, while she was out with friends for dinner. When they got there, their table “wasn't ready” (all perfectly coordinated by Kurt, of course), her friend Jess suggested they take a walk along the nearby trail, and lo and behold, there was Kurt on bended knee, presenting a beautiful oval-cut diamond.

“Kurt had the biggest smile on his face the whole time. He eventually had to go up the stairs and grab her to bring her down to the trail because she was just … frozen,” exclaims their proposal photographer Michelle Laird.

After an enthusiastic “yes!” Kurt whisked her to Manayunk Brewery — the very same place he had asked her to be his girlfriend two years prior — for a surprise engagement party where all of their closest friends and family were waiting.
