Somewhere between nonstop texting in high school and moving in together, Hailey and Kimia fell in love. As lovers of the outdoors, the couple of over 10 years got engaged in Zion, laying in a hammock — “Kimia loves her hammock,” jokes Hailey — with a slide puzzle that Kimia had to solve. It revealed a QR code that played a song while Hailey pulled out the custom ring that she had made. “It’s simple because Kimia isn’t used to wearing rings,” explains Hailey. “But she’s since gotten used to wearing just this special one.”
For their engagement session, they started in the comfort of their Los Angeles home, followed by playful captures along the L.A. River Bike Path.
“Home is truly where the heart is for this comedy writer and comedian power couple,” says their planner, Holly Gray of Anything But Gray Events.
