When Michael and Aaron became engaged in 2013, they expected to be engaged forever. It was before the Supreme Court ruled in favor of marriage equality, and a wedding didn’t seem as though it were going to be a part of their future. But two years later, on June 26, 2015, all of that changed. And after more than 15 years together, Michael and Aaron finally began to plan the wedding of their dreams.
Atop the peak of Colorado ski resort Arapahoe Basin, the grooms gathered their friends and family for a memorable wedding that began with a chair lift ride to the ceremony site. Michael and Aaron, handsomely dressed in Generation Tux suits, exchanged vows in an emotional ceremony with sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains behind them and continued the jovial celebration inside Black Mountain Lodge. Captured by From the Hip Photo, this heartfelt mountain wedding is giving us all the feels.
