The official end of Pride month is only days away, and although we’re sad to see the incredible celebration of love and the LGBTQ community come to an end, we’re encouraged, now more than ever, to know that the support for this community doesn’t end when the month of June does. Last week, UK-based online retailer, boohoo, announced the launch of its second Pride collection titled Love is Love, which is filled with gender neutral, statement-making pieces that will help you show your support for the community long after Pride month comes to a close.
The 30-piece capsule collection of ready-to-wear and accessories features the collection's titular slogan, plenty of rainbow stripes and empowering messages, such as “love is a terrible thing to hate.” The collection is available online now, and boohoo is planning to donate 10 percent of the proceeds to The Rainbow Fund, which provides grants to LGBT and HIV/AIDS organizations, and the Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity.
We love the idea of subtle designed pieces that emanate a strong message as well as the fact that all 30 pieces were designed with gender neutrality in mind. In a press release, CEO of boohooMAN.com, Samir Kamani, said that was by design: “Both boohoo brands wanted to come together to create a collection that was subtle yet bold — a collection that was for everyone.”
This collection was inspired by the love that Pride month celebrates, and as another Pride month comes to an end, we can't think of a better way to showcase our support for the community and ensure Pride extends well beyond the 30 days of June than by rocking some of the fun, eye-catching and statement-making designs in boohoo's Love is Love Collection!
