Meeting at a book club was where Lisa and Karen’s love story began. The California natives transplanted to Seattle, opting for a wedding with a Pacific Northwest flair.
With a naturistic setting of importance to Lisa and Karen, the Salish Lodge and Spa in Washington became the ultimate atmosphere, with the Snoqualmie Falls flowing effortlessly behind the two during their intimate outdoor ceremony. During their union, there was a special moment where geese flew in a v-formation above them that was as picturesque as a fairytale. Upon completion of their vows, petals of confetti were tossed as the newlyweds exited the space as glee and excitement beamed from their faces.
Blooms filled with peach, rose and white hues looked classic and completed Lisa and Karen’s attire in the form of a lush bouquet and striking boutonniere. Lisa wore a stunning chiffon gown; the softness of the material offset with rhinestone heels. Karen in a chic Zara tux with sleek Sam Edelman pumps. Post nuptials, their elegant shoes were swapped out with custom Chuck Taylors that were just as stylish.
Their reception was held indoors showcasing tables adorned with geometric terrariums, wooden charger plates, and white pumpkins as escort cards. Candlelight and floral runners even dressed up the mantle of the space, making the area feel cozy and romantic.
Toasts were made, the cake was cut, and Lisa and Karen officially began the next chapter of their story — a love that’s one for the books.
