Despite all the chaos that 2020 brought, Jess and Andreas decided to end the year on a high note with an intimate New Year’s Eve wedding. Their winter celebration took place at an atrium style chapel at Coalesce Bookstore in Morro Bay, California. With its beautiful greenery and architecture, the two exchanged vows with their closest friends and family surrounding them — the perfect setting for a new chapter. Following the I dos, the newlyweds posed for photos in their effortless, yet practical attire with Kay Mitchell Photography documenting it all. Their conscious efforts were also utilized throughout the day including DIY floral designs. “I dried my own flowers for my bouquet and made my bridesmaid’s flower wreaths. Yes, they’re fake but they’ll last forever and I didn’t have to worry about COVID shutting down my wedding and having $500 worth of useless fresh flowers,” says the bride.
A love like this is one for the books and their day is the perfect reminder that love is the most important thing about a wedding. Everything else is just icing on the cake!
