The International Academy of Wedding and Event Planning (IAWEP) has announced their 2018-19 Global Advisory Board and spoiler alert … I was selected to be on it! I'm not normally one to post about work accomplishments, but I'm incredibly honored to be selected for this prestigious role alongside some incredible industry experts I've long admired such as David Tutera, Ceci Johnson of Ceci New York, Sara Burnett of Burnett's Boards, Christie Osbourne of Mountainside Media and more.

I will have the opportunity to contribute my equality-minded input into course materials, provide guidance for Academy students and share my expert insight with Wedding Business Magazine, as well as the annual International Wedding Trend Report. It's a very large step into making the industry more equality-minded, and I'm so grateful for Kylie Carlson's understanding how important that is. Now where's my champagne to celebrate?
