From City Hall to Stonewall: This New York City Elopement Is Filled With Beautiful Moments

Kristy May Photography beautifully documented Cody and Amanda's New York City elopement, that started with a rainy morning sparkling wine toast at a hotel rooftop in Greenwich Village and hair/makeup by Sharon Becker of SB Beauty. The brides then made it official at Manhattan's Marriage Bureau, picking up flowers outside before waiting their turn to say “I do.”

So many memorable moments were captured: their number to be called up for their turn to sign paperwork, the anxious waiting on the bench (complete with kisses), and the looks these two give each other, as if they're the only ones in the room. These images are just so incredibly romantic!

After officially becoming wife-and-wife, they grabbed a snack from a street vendor and sat on a bench, taking in the momentous experience. Kristy then followed the brides through Central Park, capturing their newlywed glow at iconic locations in Central Park. Afterwards they visited Magnolia Bakery for Mrs. and Mrs. celebration cupcakes and capped the day off with a drink at Stonewall Inn, a beautiful nod to the LGBTQ rights movement. How perfect is that?
