Home is where the heart is, and for Jaybee and Jeff, it was the perfect inspiration for their wedding celebration in Las Vegas.
The couple first matched on a dating app in 2015, but their conversation fizzled out. A year later, destiny brought them together again when Jaybee returned to Sin City. Encouraged by friends, Jaybee finally took the leap and met Jeff at Red Rock Casino. The night was filled with laughter, deep conversations, and undeniable chemistry—and the rest was history.
Fast forward to May 13, 2021, on the beautiful beaches of Oahu, Hawaii. With the golden sunset painting the sky, Jeff dropped to one knee at Paradise Cove and asked Jaybee to marry him.
When it came to their wedding, Jaybee and Jeff wanted an intimate space that truly felt like home. They found exactly that at The Lotus House in Las Vegas.
“The Lotus House was situated in a residential area and was literally a home turned into an event space,” they shared. With both indoor and outdoor areas, it provided the perfect blank canvas to bring their creative vision to life.
Their wedding aesthetic was a stunning mix of vintage and boho styles, infused with neutral and earthy tones—nudes, mochas, brown, beige, whites, and cognac. Copper and gold metal accents added a touch of elegance. Lush floral arrangements with eucalyptus, pampas, and palm leaves enhanced the natural ambiance, while cascading greenery along the venue's staircase added a modern and dreamy touch.
A key part of their celebration was embracing their Filipino roots, making every guest feel at home while keeping the event classy and modern.
“If you've ever been to a Filipino party, you know it's going to be a good time—and that’s exactly the vibe we were going for,” the couple said.
For their attire, both grooms wore custom-made Barongs, the traditional Filipino formalwear. They stayed true to classic designs while incorporating modern elements to make them uniquely their own.
The couple opted for a heartfelt 30-minute non-traditional ceremony. Acoustic versions of their favorite songs played as they walked down the aisle together. When it came time for their vows, Jaybee spoke from the heart, while Jeff took everyone by surprise—serenading his husband-to-be with a song instead of spoken vows. It was a deeply emotional and touching moment that left everyone teary-eyed.
After saying “I do,” the newlyweds continued the festivities with a reception filled with personalized touches and Filipino influences. Their dessert of choice? A delicious Ube cake!
“Ube is a purple yam from the Philippines that has gained so much popularity in recent years. Sticking to our Filipino culture, we chose traditional Filipino flavors, including our desserts,” they shared.
Their reception decor beautifully blended tradition with modern elegance. Ivory linens, bamboo chairs, and woven charger plates set the stage for a warm and inviting atmosphere. Hunter-green napkins and gold utensils complemented the neutral tones, while white wooden table numbers were layered with woven fans. The sweetheart table featured a farmhouse-style setup, with Jaybee and Jeff seated on regal peacock thrones. Each guest received a personalized keychain with intricate caning designs, which doubled as their escort cards.
As the night unfolded, the celebration turned into an unforgettable party. Guests danced beneath twinkling bistro lights, waved sparklers, and cheered as cutout heads of the grooms made their way around the dance floor, followed by a drag queen performance, another beautiful serenade by Jeff and Jaybee performing a choreographed dance number! One of the most memorable surprises came when Jeff’s sister kicked off a special performance with their friends, singing “From Now On” from The Greatest Showman—a favorite song that holds special meaning. One that even utters words about coming back “home” and encompassing the vision of the wedding in its entirety.
