Everything about this Malibu wedding screams elegance and it’s obvious that every detail was beautifully thought out — even the bridesmaids had a gorgeous floral-accented robe station with matching tote bags and bridesmaid Starbucks cups!
Bride-to-be Sheila pulled inspiration from her favorite movie as a little girl, The Secret Garden, to create the wedding of her and her groom’s dreams. “I chose The Oak Room at Calamigos Ranch in the Malibu Hills because it embodied the vision of a secrete garden theme I was trying to create,” she says of their venue choice. Petals & Linens completed the look with hanging chandeliers, draping florals and towering gilded centerpieces. The property’s cascading waterfall played the perfect backdrop to the floral-filled ceremony arch as Sheila and Chris exchanged vows.
The bride and her mom DIY’d the escort card display to add a personalized touch to the wedding design. “My mother and I made all of the table cards and pinned them to a wood frame. It turned out beautiful. Also, my wedding day was on St. Patrick’s Day so they all had a four leafed clover on them!”
