Block Island Winter Elopement

Couple’s Session During a Blizzard Proves Love Can Weather Any Storm

Do you believe in love at first sight? Kath and Renee’s story may convince you to believe it to be true! After the two met online, the chemistry between them was undeniable and they were engaged just four months after.

“Our connection was something neither of us had ever experienced before. It was, and still is, meeting in the middle on every level, walking through life with an equal, a true partner, a true love.”

Their session in Block Island, Rhode Island is giving us all the wonderful winter elopement feels. With a dreamy snowfall adding character to the day, they showed off their love and the beauty of the area in the off-season. We found this very fitting considering their shoot brings light that even in unique times, there’s always something magical!

With Kath in a silk cream gown with white booties and Renee in European-inspired suit with a cashmere turtleneck, the two embraced each other beneath the wintry weather. “Playing dress-up in a blizzard on Block Island felt like a fairytale, a very chilly fairytale. The snow all around us created a beautiful feeling of insulation where we felt like we were the only ones on the island. It was beautiful.”

If you take anything away from Kath and Renee’s session, let it be to seek the joy of all moments surrounding you!
