Chloë Grace Moretz, the acclaimed actress known for her roles in films like Kick-Ass and Carrie, has seemingly announced her engagement to longterm girlfriend, model Kate Harrison. The couple, who have been together since 2018, shared the joyous news through a heartfelt Instagram post on New Year's Day.
In the Instagram carousel, Moretz included a photo of the couple holding hands on a beach, each wearing matching diamond rings on their left ring fingers. She captioned the post: “Happiest New Year❤️ so thankful for what this year has brought. The people, the places, our families, our health, our love. Wishing all of you a peaceful start to this new year ❤️.”
Speculation about their engagement had been circulating since April 2024, when the couple was spotted wearing rings on their left hands during a visit to Disneyland. Moretz further fueled the rumors by appearing with the ring at various events, including a Louis Vuitton show in Shanghai.
Moretz and Harrison have maintained a relatively private relationship over the years. They were first romantically linked in December 2018 after being seen sharing a kiss at Nobu in Malibu, California. In a 2022 interview, Moretz confirmed she was in a long-term relationship but emphasized her desire to keep her private life out of the spotlight.
